Summary:
Assist the director with directing, planning, administering, coordinating, designing, and controlling evaluations, staff development, training, and Plan of Work reporting functions of the 1890 Research and Extension Program; collect and monitor contact hours; and ensure 1890 follows the approved Plan of Work and requirements for reporting data on the local, state, and federal levels.
Job Functions/Duties/
Responsibilities:
Gather information to be used by the Director, Administration and/or staff.
Schedule meetings, conferences, workshops for training of the Plan of Work, Impact Statements, Success Stories, Contact Hours, etc.
Typing, proofreading, editing, and formatting correspondences.
Ability to record and decipher information to prepare written reports.
Capable of communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to establish and develop good relationships with staff, administrators, other institutions, organizations, etc.
to accomplish preparing reports and other documents.
Assist in interpreting, preparing, and monitoring the Plan of Work reporting regulations and requirements statewide for 1890 Research and Extension and disseminate (qualitative and quantitative) information to appropriate sources upon approval.
Help direct, design, and produce major program evaluation products, publications, and/or reports, including developing data collection instruments, synthesize information/data, interpret results, and make recommendations to improve reporting and dissemination.
Provide and coordinate effective delivery of information for internal and external results.
Participate in legislative, public, and advocacy group meetings, hearings, and conferences when necessary.
Assist direct, administrators, staff with special projects and issues that concern evaluation and accountability of reporting, planning, supervising and fiscal responsibilities as assigned.
Perform other related job duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs.
Experience developing and conducting training Ability to utilize technology for data compilation and reporting Valid South Carolina driver's license is required.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
